There is a particular kind of magic in watching childhood nostalgia arrive, quite literally, gift-wrapped. This month, éntisi Chocolatier — the Mumbai-founded luxury chocolate house known for its handcrafted bonbons and dragées — has done exactly that, unveiling an officially licensed Harry Potter collection in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. It is, by any measure, a defining moment for India’s premium chocolate industry, and a rather delightful one for anyone who grew up believing a chocolate frog could, in fact, leap off the plate.
The collection draws its cues directly from the wizarding world’s most iconic confectionery and imagery: Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Chocolates, Chocolate Frogs, a full set of Hogwarts House Chocolates, and a Platform 9¾ Hogwarts Express Bar, each built around custom-developed moulds designed to recreate the films’ visual world in fine, edible detail. The packaging, too, has been treated as part of the storytelling rather than an afterthought, with a keepsake card tucked into every pack that invites collectors to build their set house by house, frog by frog — a small, deliberate nod to the completionist instincts of any true fan.

Speaking on the collaboration, éntisi founder and CEO Nikki Thakker described it as a deeply personal project, having grown up on the books and films, and called the partnership a meaningful validation of the craftsmanship the brand has spent years developing — with every mould custom-built to ensure the collection felt authentic to the source material.
The launch also marks éntisi’s formal entry into licensed chocolate, a category the brand is positioning as a long-term growth pillar rather than a one-off novelty. Starting at ₹129, the collection is available through éntisi’s boutiques in Mumbai and Pune, its dark stores across Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Bengaluru, the brand’s own website, and — for the quick-commerce generation — exclusively via Blinkit. Timed to build toward Harry Potter’s birthday on 31st July, the rollout was clearly designed with the fandom calendar in mind, courting everyone from teenage collectors to nostalgic thirty-somethings buying, ostensibly, for someone else entirely.

Looking further out, éntisi has framed this as the start of something rather than a standalone moment: Delhi and Bengaluru are next on the expansion map, with a five-year vision that stretches toward pan-India retail, a stronger presence in international airports, deeper quick-commerce reach, and further seasonal Harry Potter-inspired launches to come.
It is, in its own way, a fitting collision — a brand built on Belgian technique and Indian craftsmanship, applied in service of one of the most beloved fictional universes in the world. Whether it converts you back into an eleven-year-old opening a Chocolate Frog box for the first time, or simply gives you a rather good excuse to buy chocolate on a Tuesday, the collection lands, appropriately, as something closer to a spell than a snack.
