In a time when wellness is becoming central to how we live and travel, Allen Machado is shaping a more conscious approach to hospitality. As the driving force behind Niraamaya, he is redefining it as a holistic lifestyle brand rooted in preventive care, mindfulness, and meaningful experiences that extend far beyond a stay.
Niraamaya has evolved beyond hospitality. How would you define it today as a lifestyle brand?
Niraamaya today extends beyond hospitality, evolving into a holistic lifestyle and wellness brand. Our approach is anchored in the belief that well-being must be preventive and proactive. We focus on enabling individuals to maintain balance before stress and lifestyle-related challenges arise. Every offering is designed to support the mind, body, and soul—encouraging a way of living where well-being becomes part of the everyday, not just an occasional retreat. These are spaces where one arrives to pause and leaves with a sense of renewal.

What makes the Niraamaya experience truly transformative?
We move beyond conventional offerings to curate deeply personal journeys that encourage self-connection. Among our recent introductions: Trataka Meditation to enhance focus and clarity, Walking Meditation to cultivate awareness through stillness in motion, and Bonfire Cleansing Rituals to release emotional weight and restore inner balance. Each element is designed to address mental and emotional well-being alongside physical ease—recognising the growing need for inner clarity in a fast-paced world.
How do you see the role of preventive wellness shaping the future of hospitality?
Preventive wellness is reshaping the industry. There is a clear shift towards conscious living, with individuals prioritising mental clarity, stress management, and long-term health. This evolution is influencing how hospitality is experienced. At Niraamaya, this translates into thoughtfully curated nutrition, tailored therapeutic treatments, yoga and meditative practices, and mindfulness-driven engagements. The intention is to offer a journey that extends beyond the stay and integrates seamlessly into daily life.
You have introduced new wellness experiences. What was the thought behind this expansion?
The idea was simple—healing must be more profound. Today’s traveller seeks depth, meaning, and emotional alignment. This led us to design offerings that go beyond surface-level relaxation. Whether it is letting go by the warmth of a bonfire or sharpening focus through Trataka, each element is created to inspire a lasting inner shift.

What is your long-term vision for Niraamaya as a global lifestyle brand?
The vision is to establish Niraamaya as a global name in wellness and conscious living. We aspire to be recognised not just as a place to stay, but as a partner in one’s personal journey towards better living. Expansion across India and international markets is guided by this larger purpose.
Can you share your expansion plans?
We are developing a strong pipeline of destinations aligned with nature, serenity, and cultural richness. Key locations include Nepal, Jaipur, Manali, Dharamshala, Udaipur, Hyderabad, the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Sri Lanka, and Southeast Asia. Each destination allows for a distinct narrative, shaped by its surroundings and heritage.
What drives you as a leader in this space?
For me, leadership is about creating meaningful impact. As the industry evolves, there is an opportunity to build something that goes beyond service. Enabling people to feel better, think clearly, and live well brings a deeper sense of purpose to what we do.
What advice would you give to emerging leaders in the wellness and hospitality space?
Remain authentic, yet adaptable. Relevance comes from evolving with intent while staying grounded in your core philosophy. Prioritise people, purpose, and thoughtful design—these are what shape enduring brands.
